The King Protea (Protea cynaroides). I snapped this awesome pic with my iPhone at the San Francisco Botanical Garden last weekend after volunteering at the Cactus and Succulent Society/Bromeliad Society of San Francisco plant sales.
I’ve got one growing in the garden out front. But it’s too young to have a bloom.
